Details: I'm a "recovering lawyer" who practiced law for nine years, then quit to become a fiction and freelance writer. Now, I write fiction full-time and blog. I've published a series of hardboiled mysteries. The first book, IDENTITY CRISIS, is a New York Times ebook fiction bestseller. I also suffer from a rare movement disorder called dystonia caused (in my case) by a stroke. I'm continuing to work on various writing projects, including more books in the series, other novels, short stories and screenplays. I love movies, books, music, baseball and cats (not necessarily in that order).
