Just for fun, here are some things I saw in the paper that I thought were awesome.

This man is really awesome! :) I know how he feels, because that’s how it feels to run your own business.

When I read this article, I thought about my father, the failed playwright. He always thought it was harder to write novels, and he admired my trying to doing so. If there’s a lack of good plays, I could always write plays, huh? I’ll have to touch base with Dan Shea about that.  Thanks, Steve, for introducing me to Dan, so to speak! :)

BTW, did you know that Nora Roberts owns this inn? Isn’t that nice? I also read somewhere that she likes Terry Pratchett’s Discworld books, which is part of the reason I decided to read this book!

Sorry, Dad. I have to say, go Ravens! :)

Here’s the Edgar Allan Poe cemetery, right next to the University of Maryland Law School. Ha!

PoeCemetery

I used to joke that my law school was the only one with its own cemetery! It’s where they buried all the dead law students or something. Ha ha ha …

Finally, this oddly appropriate quote from Nik Nak’s Old Peculiar:

“I only needed specs for reading, but as a result of wearing them all the time to try to look like Buddy Holly, I became genuinely nearsighted.”

Elton John

Thanks, Dad! :)

And thank you, Paul! :) Rock on!!

UPDATE: Let’s call a truce in the bragging wars!

Hmmm …!

NFL joins GE in effort to detect concussions.

Staging a sisterhood! :)

Curator, tear down these walls!

Raging against the robots!

Except, of course, Marvin …

Real people are awesome! :)

And OMG!!! Isn’t this awesome?

Surprise! :)

Surprise! :)

And here I was looking for more cat photos! :)

UPDATE 2: I think I’m ready to move on to the next phase, so to speak. :)

UPDATE 3: Here’s some awesome shit I’ve pinned.

Andy Warhol meets The Clash!
