I’ll try to keep this short, since I can barely type. Really!
Here’s what I blogged yesterday. Now, I’m about to do the right thing and that’s to tell you the truth.
Yes, we made our goal and it was awesome and unexpected. However, it was because my mother-in-law is generous. And she needs to get rid of her extra money, just like my crazy mother does.
Honest, I wasn’t expecting this! Do you think I would have done all this blogging and tweeting with a hand like this, if I had expected handouts from my mother-in-law?
Shit, if I were looking for handouts, I’d take ‘em from Mr. Smiley, who has WAY more money than my mother-in-law and crazy mother combined.
I’m doing this, because I’m trying to create a platform. I must stand on my own two feet to do this, so to speak. I must be able to voice my opinion freely. That’s why this is so awesome!
That man with me is my equal, partner, husband and soul mate. He is my very best friend. He believes in my mission, which is to be a writer.
Now … until I can make a real go of this, I will not have fulfilled my mission. So, I have a lot of work to do.
First thing, I’m seeking contributions for this campaign for literacy and the Red Cross disaster relief efforts. My goal is to reach $1,000 by Dec. 21.
And here’s the Facebook page. Again!
It’s on the sidebar, Debbi. You can knock it off, anytime.
And now for random links of possible interest:

Danyelle’s Dystonia Journey on FB
Danyelle has chosen to be happy in her own way. She is very brave and strong. Clearly, her happiness cannot come from prancing around in fancy clothes, but she can choose to be happy with what she can do. #iamfoolish
Gene Weingarten wrote this long article, which I didn’t read all the way, but it looks interesting.
This made me laugh so hard, I nearly forgot I was being constantly tortured.
This is nothing like that idiot show about the suburbs. LOL!
Football ethics dilemma! :-O How horrible cute weird interesting.
I used to believe in luck. Ha ha ha … Now, I believe in hard work and making the right choices.
From the Md. State Bar Bulletin:
Keeping the practice in perspective. I shall quote the awesome intro:
“Will I live tomorrow……well I just can’t say.”
Lyrics from I Don’t Live Today, Jimi Hendrix, Are You Experienced Album (1967)
and …
This is why lawyers aren’t bad people. They represent people who often make bad choices, but that’s their jobs.
When I was a lawyer, there were some clients I didn’t represent, because I simply wouldn’t. I chose not to.
We can argue the issues and still be colleagues. Semper fi!
Shall we finish up with The Humanoid Boogie from Nik Nak’s Old Peculiar? Awesome!
And this priceless quote!
“I was only saying to the Queen the other day how I hate name dropping …”

PS: I’m looking into raising the goal amount just a bit and continuing the series campaign. Stay tuned!

UPDATE: Just so I’m agonizingly clear, my husband and I never strangle each other!
If he acts retarded stupid dumb weird or whatever, I figure it’s just a cosmic joke and ignore it. Ha!
I now rest my case hand. And the Dude abides.
UPDATE 2: Okay, just one more update, then I’ll shut up. Here’s the Facebook Page for Cities in the Sky: Science-Fiction’s Forgotten Visionaries. I like it!
UPDATE 3: I’m sorry. I just couldn’t resist this. Look what went down in Richmond! I loves me some cats!!!!!
