Have I mentioned how much I love “Weird Al” Yankovic? I follow him on Twitter, as you may know from this post, which ended up getting Freshly Pressed, an event that was so bizarre mind-blowing amazing interesting that I’m sure it will never happen to me again it was almost like a dream.
So … I was on Twitter recently and I saw “Weird Al” had tweeted this video, which was so awesome I had to share it.
And “Weird Al” wrote something like, “I really want one of these.” Or words to that effect. I think.
I would’ve saved the tweet, but it got away and I’m too technically stupid to figure how to do it without Tweetdeck. So … so much for that.
And I think my sister is as funny as “Weird Al” Yankovic. Really!
Now, I realize you may be thinking …
And you’re right. But the Dude abides.
Now … having spent the day fixing all the problems with the teleplay, I now wait anxiously for tech support from my Final Draft expert will eventually submit it to the contest and be done with that. Yay!
And here are some random things from around the Web:
Could you look down from 24 miles up and jump?
Here’s my question. Are we becoming a nation of watchers?
Stop worrying about book deals and write.
Imagine a world without Justin Bieber.
Yes, this book in the Sam McRae Mystery Series. Please click the link for more details about supporting my Indiegogo campaign for said series. Thank you!
Want to ruin teaching? Give ratings.
That goes out to Mr. Teachbad and Mary C, who I still owe a decent post about the awesomeness of teachers.
Facebook is like a toilet or vice versa. Or something.
I’m going to kill you.

My heartfelt thanks to The Bloggess for this ending to the last season of Doctor Who that never happened.
And look who showed up at the grocery store in Hoity-Toityville!
Awesome!
Thank you, Mary C of World O’ Crap for sharing.
And thank you, Steve Pryor for all your patience and being such a saint so helpful with Final Draft! I’m such a doofus I hate Final Draft, but oh, well.
Be sure to check out Steve’s blog, My Other Career.
If I weren’t going to the Austin Film Festival on Thursday, I’d nag convince my husband to get on a plane and head here …
Then we could go to the In-N-Out Burger!
And, finally, a song from Nik Nak’s Old Peculiar called “Move It.”
Which sounds astonishing quite similar to the title of the post I wrote yesterday about traveling to the UK and Ireland. Weird. Interesting.
PS: I’m now following Stumped in Stumptown, who must have followed me, because of my frequent references to Portland, OR, which is where my awesome funny sister lives, etc.
BTW, I’m stumped, too.

[...] there! I finished work on that teleplay I’d been agonizing over all weekend and actually succeeded in submitting it to the contest. [...]
